Who We Are
Our Mission
We’re working to expand the use of alternative fuels, domestically-produced transportation fuels and energy-efficient vehicle technologies. We’re a government/industry partnership, coordinated by the U.S. Department of Energy and administered by the Greater Portland Council of Governments. Our coalition is comprised of fleet managers, business owners, clean fuel providers, state and local officials, and members of the public who want to reduce petroleum consumption and promote the use of clean fuels and clean fuel vehicles.
Our Services
Information and technical support on grant funding opportunities
Technical assistance for alternative fuel and anti-idling fleet transformation projects
Access to a network of local, regional, and national partners in the alternative fuel industry
Assistance for planning and promoting events
Educational activities focused on alternative fuels
Become A Stakeholder
As a stakeholder, you’ll gain full access to our services and make connections with people, businesses and organizations in our statewide network. Once a year we'll check in and ask you to fill out a survey on your progress towards transitioning to alternative fuels and reducing greenhouse gasses in the transportation sector. We report our stakeholder's alternative fuel usage to the US Department of Energy to help identify trends and greenhouse gas emissions savings.
